University Instructors (UI) provides impactful instructional services to our K-12 school partners—to enhance the achievement of ALL students and build local talent pipelines.
Since 1994, UI has offered education staffing and direct student services focused on proven, research-based instructional support strategies.
We use academic-support best practices and state/federal funding opportunities to align our offerings with the needs of today’s learners.
EPIC Afterschool
and Summer Camp Program
EPIC out-of-school activities incorporate a focus on instructional, social, and emotional learning skills aligned to Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Its hands-on activities involve building teamwork, working collaboratively, communicating effectively, and fostering inquiry about topics of interest.
EPIC offers students opportunities to practice critical skills such as leadership mindsets, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, initiative, work ethic, creativity, enthusiasm, attitude, teamwork, and decision-making. It consists of engaging and enriching content designed to spark curiosity in small group settings, which helps forge healthy relationships and positive student outcomes.
The EPIC Afterschool Program takes an active and engaging approach to student-centered learning!
Starting when the school day ends, our afterschool program for kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12) students offers them support or additional enrichment in Math, Reading, English Language Arts (ELA), and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
